This thesis is dedicated to the study of the geometry of six-dimensional superspace, endowed with the minimal amount of supersymmetry. In the first part of it, we unfold the main geometrical features of such superspace by solving completely the Bianchi identities for the constrained superspace torsion, which allow us to determine the full six-dimensional derivate superalgebra. Next, the conformal structure of the supergeometry is considered. Specifically, it is shown that the conventional…

Superforms in Simple Six-dimensional Superspace

We investigate the complex of differential forms in curved, six- dimensional, N = (1,0) superspace. The superconformal group acts on this complex by super-Weyl transformations. An ambi-twistor-like

5D supergravity and projective superspace

This paper is a companion to our earlier work [1] in which the projective superspace formulation for matter-coupled simple supergravity in five dimensions was presented. For the minimal multiplet of

Super-Weyl invariance in 5D supergravity

We propose a superspace formulation for the Weyl multiplet of N=1 conformal supergravity in five dimensions. The corresponding superspace constraints are invariant under super-Weyl transformations

(1,0) superconformal models in six dimensions

A bstractWe construct six-dimensional (1,0) superconformal models with non-abelian gauge couplings for multiple tensor multiplets. A crucial ingredient in the construction is the introduction of

The Large-N Limit of Superconformal Field Theories and Supergravity

We show that the large-N limits of certainconformal field theories in various dimensions includein their Hilbert space a sector describing supergravityon the product of anti-de Sitter spacetimes,

Six-dimensional supergravity and projective superfields

A bstractWe propose a superspace formulation of $ \mathcal{N} = \left( {1,0} \right) $ conformal supergravity in six dimensions. The corresponding superspace constraints are invariant under

The Covariant Superstring on K3

We compactify the pure spinor formalism on a K3 surface. The pure spinor splits into a six-dimensional pure spinor, a projective superspace harmonic, and 6 non-covariant variables. A homological

Supersymmetry in Lorentzian Curved Spaces and Holography

We consider superconformal and supersymmetric field theories on four-dimensional Lorentzian curved space-times, and their five-dimensional holographic duals. As in the Euclidean signature case,

All supersymmetric solutions of minimal supergravity in six dimensions

A general form for all supersymmetric solutions of minimal supergravity in six dimensions is obtained. Examples of new supersymmetric solutions are presented. It is proved that the only maximally
