Cast-in place (CIP) continuous post-tensioned bridge construction method is a fast and efficient way of constructing urban bridges. In this method, the hyperstatic property of the continuous deck is utilized to efficiently place material at where it’s needed. For some urban projects, higher ratio of span-todepth arrangement, beyond the capacity of internal post-tensioning is required.
