Educational Effectiveness Research (EER) investigates the causal relationships between outcomes and inputs. It also looks at the educative processes of improvement and the policy context in which these are set. Data on attainment is compiled, which drives the field’s methodology and enables modelling to take place at the level of the pupil, the teacher, the school and the system.
