  • In the period of the water resources evolutionary investigation of North China, from the 3-D map composed of TM and DEM, the downstream of the Xilamulun river is the wide Kailu basin, with huge alluvial-lacustrine sandy sediments which constitute great Xiliaohe plain, but the watershed area has not sufficient water and sand-soil sediments enough to form such present huge sedimentary plain in theory.
