Tensile tests are commonly used to provide information on the tensile properties of materials. However, limited tests have been done on the orientation angles of material for the same properties. Thus, the present paper discusses the effect of three different angles to the tensile properties of aluminium alloy AA5083 dog-bone specimens based on the original rolling direction. For this purpose, the angles chosen and tested were 0°, 45° and 90°. It is found that, as the orientation angle… Expand
An Investigation into the Fracture Behavior of the IN625 Hot-Rolled Superalloy
In the present study, an experimental investigation of the effects of the rolling direction on the fracture behavior of the IN625 superalloy by using the digital image correlation method is studied.Expand
Experimental research of the effect of face milling strategy on the flatness deviations
ABSTRACT In this paper the dependencies between face milling strategy of EN AW6082-T6 aluminum alloy samples, with difference thicknesses (6, 8, and 12 mm) and two cold rolling directions, andExpand
Flow Stress Behavior, Constitutive Modeling, and Microstructural Characteristics of DP 590 Steel at Elevated Temperatures
In the present study, the flow stress behavior and material properties of dual-phase (DP) 590 steel have been investigated for different process parameters such as temperature (room temperature (RT)Expand
Surface Roughness Evaluation in Thin EN AW-6086-T6 Alloy Plates after Face Milling Process with Different Strategies
To verify whether the strategy of removing the outer material layers of aluminium alloy sheets affects the surface roughness after the face milling process, EN AW-6082-T6 aluminium alloy thin plates with three different thicknesses and with two directions relative to the cold rolling process direction were analysed. Investigating the microstructure of an additively manufactured FeCo alloy: an electron microscopy study
Abstract The objective of the present investigation is to correlate mechanical properties with microstructure for FeCo alloy using electron microscopy. A short parameter adaption is conducted toExpand
Flexible forming of 3-D metal panels
The process of sheet metal forming is commonly used to create 3-D surfaces in, e.g., aircrafts and automobiles. Stamping is one of most common sheet metal forming processes but traditional formingExpand

Effect of Stretch Orientation and Rolling Orientation on the Mechanical Properties of 2195 Al-Cu-Li Alloy
Sheets of 2195 aluminum-lithium alloy were solution-treated at 507 °C for 30 min. One set was stretched to 3-5% in the 0°, 45°, and 90° angle with respect to the original rolling direction. Two otherExpand
Effect of grain orientation on deformation structure in cold-rolled polycrystalline aluminium
Abstract Pure (99.996%) polycrystalline aluminium (grain size about 300 μm) has been cold-rolled to reductions in the range from 5 to 50% ( e vm =0.06–0.80) and the deformation microstructure hasExpand
