Background & objectives: Diabetes mellitus belongs to a group of common metabolic disorders characterized by hyperglycemia phenotypes. Diabetes mellitus causes secondary pathophysiological disorders in multiple organs of the body such as nephropathy, which causes many problems for patients and the health care system.
