An implementation of the Monte Carlo (MC) phase space generators coupled with adaptive MC integration/simulation program FOAM is presented. The first program is a modification of the classic phase space generator GENBOD interfaced with the adaptive sampling integrator/generator FOAM. On top of this tool the algorithm suitable for generation of the phase space for an reaction with two leading particles is presented (double-peripheral process with central production of particles). At the same…

Central exclusive production of K+K− pairs in proton-proton collisions

We discuss central exclusive diffractive production of light mesons in the reactions $pp \to pp{\pi ^ + }{\pi ^ - }$ and $pp \to pp{K^ + }{K^ - }$. The calculation is based on a tensor-pomeron

Diffractive Physics at the LHC

Diffractive processes possible to be measured at the LHC are listed and briefly discussed. This includes soft (elastic scattering, exclusive meson pair production, diffractive bremsstrahlung) and

Central exclusive diffractive production of axial-vector f1(1285) and f1(1420) mesons in proton-proton collisions

We present a study of the central exclusive diffractive production of the $f_{1}(1285)$ and $f_{1}(1420)$ resonances in proton-proton collisions. The theoretical results are calculated within the

Extracting the Pomeron-Pomeron- f2(1270) coupling in the pp→ppπ+π− reaction through the angular distribution of the pions

We discuss how to extract the pomeron-pomeron-$f_2(1270)$ ($\mathbb{P} \mathbb{P} f_2(1270)$) coupling within the tensor-pomeron model. The general $\mathbb{P} \mathbb{P} f_2(1270)$ coupling is a

Searching for the odderon in pp→ppK+K− and pp→ppμ+μ− reactions in the ϕ(1020) resonance region at the LHC

We explore the possibility of observing odderon exchange in the $pp \to pp K^{+}K^{-}$ and $pp \to pp \mu^{+}\mu^{-}$ reactions at the LHC. We consider the central exclusive production (CEP) of the

Central exclusive diffractive production of K+K−K+K− via the intermediate ϕϕ state in proton-proton collisions

We present a study of the exclusive $pp \to pp K^{+} K^{-} K^{+} K^{-}$ reaction at high energies. We consider diffractive mechanisms with the intermediate $\phi \phi$ state with its decay into the

Decay: A Monte Carlo library for the decay of a particle with ROOT compatibility

The structure of a general-purpose event generator of decays of an elementary particle or a hadron to a state of higher multiplicity that is simple to use and universal is presented.
