THE “Lezioni di calcolo differenziale assoluto” by Prof. Levi-Cività were published in Italian in 1925. This account of the foundations of the absolute differential calculus has now been translated into English. Miss Long has thus conferred a benefit upon British mathematicians for which they will be very grateful. The subject is of fundamental importance in the applications of mathematical methods to modern theoretical physics; the treatment is as masterly as can be expected, coming as it does… Expand

Complex-order Derivative and Integral Filters and its Applications
TLDR
It is very astonishing that, indicating the diseased regions is fulfilled by complex-order integral, not by derivative, which is completely against the traditional views that using derivative operators to achieve the goal. Expand
