Additional record of Rayllianassa amboinensis (de Man, 1888) from Japan, and description of a new species from Okinawa Island, Ryukyu Islands (Crustacea: Decapoda: Axiidea: Callianassidae).
TLDR
It is shown that R. amboinensis is associated with sponges or alcyonacean soft corals, representing unusual habitats for callianassids, and the status of Rayllianassa is discussed. Expand
On some interesting marine decapod crustaceans (Alpheidae, Laomediidae, Strahlaxiidae) from Lombok, Indonesia.
TLDR
Several rare or uncommon, mostly infaunal decapod crustaceans are reported from intertidal and shallow subtidal habitats of Lombok, Indonesia, and represent new records for the marine fauna of Indonesia. Expand
AN EARLY MIOCENE DEEP-WATER DECAPOD CRUSTACEAN FAUNULE FROM THE VIENNA BASIN ( WESTERN CARPATHIANS , SLOVAKIA ) by MATÚŠ HYŽNÝ and JÁN SCHLÖGL

The fossil record of Glypturus Stimpson, 1866 (Crustacea, Decapoda, Axiidea, Callianassidae) revisited, with notes on palaeoecology and palaeobiogeography
TLDR
It is argued that Glypturus is of Tethyan origin, with a stratigraphi- cal range going as far back as the Eocene, and is considered to be linked with tropical to subtropical, nearshore carbonate environments of normal salinity. Expand
Taphonomy and systematics of decapod crustaceans from the Aptian (Lower Cretaceous) in the Oliete Sub-basin (Teruel, Spain)
A b s t r a c t Decapod crustaceans from the Forcall Formation (Aptian, Lower Cretaceous) of the Oliete Sub-basin (Maestrazgo Basin) are recorded, specimens having been collected from the localitiesExpand
An early Miocene deep‐water decapod crustacean faunule from the Vienna Basin (Western Carpathians, Slovakia)
TLDR
Palaeobiogeographical affinities of the described taxa suggest a trans-Atlantic migration during the early Miocene, and palaeoecological data suggest that deposition of the levels took place under generally low-energy, deep-water conditions that were conducive to the preservation of delicate structures. A PHYLOGENY OF THE FAMILIES OF THALASSINIDEA (CRUSTACEA: DECAPODA) WITH KEYS TO FAMILIES AND GENERA
TLDR
A computer-aided phylogenetic analysis of the families has confirmed the monophyly of the infraorder, based largely on the unique possession of a setose lower margin to pereopod 2, and the Thalassinidea are divided into three superfamilies: Thalassinoidea and Callianassoidea, more closely related to each other than to Axioidea.
