Neuroinflammation, especially innate immunocyte-mediated neuroinflammation, has been reported to participate in pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease (AD). However, the involvement of adaptive immune cells, such as CD4(+) T lymphocytes, in pathogenesis of AD is not well clarified.
