The effects of tetrandrine (6,6', 7,12-tetramethoxy-2, 2'-dimethyl-berbaman) on the mitochondrial function were assessed on oxidative stress, mitochondrial permeability transition (MPT), and bioenergetics of rat liver mitochondria.
