Testicular survival after neonatal torsion.


Ten newborn patients with an extravaginal testicular torsion are presented. All were operated on with an emergency orchiopexy. At follow-up, two to 15 years after the operation, no significant difference was noted in the volumes of the operated and the contralateral testis in eight of the ten patients.
