The first results of lattice QCD simulations on the nucleon tensor charge $\ensuremath{\delta}q$ are presented. From the quenched QCD simulations with the Wilson quark action at $\ensuremath{\beta}=5.7$ (the lattice spacing $a\ensuremath{\simeq}0.14$ fm) on a 16${}^{3}\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}$20 lattice and on a ${12}^{3}\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}20$ lattice, we find (i) the connected part $\ensuremath{\delta}{q}_{\mathrm{con}}$ is determined with small statistical error, (ii…

We investigate the hyperon-nucleon interactions in the QCD sum rule starting from the nucleon matrix element of the hyperon correlation function. Through the dispersion relation, the correlation

How the nucleon magnetic moment originates from the quark spin and orbital motions is an important issue of the nucleon structure. The Gordon decomposition separates the quark vector current and
An ongoing challenge to quantum chromodynamics as the theory of strong interactions is calculating hadron masses and matrix elements from first principles. Presently lattice calculations are the most
Spin structure of the nucleon is one of the fundamental topics in physics. The proton has spin 1/2, and contains quarks with spin 1/2 and gluons with spin 1. Three fundamental quark distribution
