Abstract Ulleung Island is a biodiversity hotspot in South Korea. During a survey of indigenous fungal species from Ulleung Island conducted from 2015 to 2016, we discovered 10 unrecorded macrofungi in Korea. These macrofungi were identified to the species level using morphological features and phylogenetic analysis based on the internal transcribed spacer region: Deconica phyllogena, Mycena zephirus, Phaeomarasmius proximans, Phlebia radiata, Pluteus semibulbosus, Postia alni, Resinicium…

TLDR
This novel species is characterized by small basidiomata having whitish to dark brown pileus colour, with finely to distinctly granulose surface, and mostly narrowly fusiform to lageniform pleurocystidia with long narrow necks and a distinctly subcapitate to capitate apex.
Macrofungal Survey of the Tian Shan Mountains, Kyrgyzstan
TLDR
This study provides the first well-documented checklist and phylogenetic analysis of macrofungi recovered from the Tian Shan mountains in Kyrgyzstan, and categorizes them based on current taxonomic concepts.
Growth, enzymatic production and morphology of the white-rot fungi Lentinus crinitus (L.) Fr. upon 2,4-D herbicide exposition
TLDR
This is the first study showing the potential of L. crinitus EF58 lineage in tolerating 2,4-D and represents the beginning of work for the bioremediation process with practical applications.
