BACKGROUND Temporal lobe arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) represent a subgroup of intracranial AVMs with particular characteristics and management issues. METHODS We performed a retrospective analysis of 24 consecutive patients with temporal lobe AVMs treated with surgical excision.
