The temperature dependence of the electromagnetic response functionI(0, 0,T) has been inferred from the temperature dependence of the kinetic inductance of thin, amorphous Bi films. For normalization purposesI(0, 0, 0) has been calculated from tunneling data with the microscopic strong-coupling theory. The results are not consistent with scaled weak-coupling theory, but instead exhibit strong-coupling effects.
