Teaching of veterinary pharmacology in Japan

The veterinary educational system and that for post-graduate students in Japan have changed by law since April 1st 1978, in order to adapt to the drastic social changes and to the social needs in the recent development of our country. Regarding the qualifications for students who take the veterinary medical state examination, they ought to have learned the veterinary course of a veterinary school for four years and have pursued the master course for two years.
