Taurine attenuates pyridoxal-induced adrenomedullary catecholamine release and glycogenolysis in the rat.

The vitamin B6 vitamers, pyridoxine, pyridoxal and pyridoxamine are capable of promoting the mobilization of hepatic glycogen stores and hyperglycemia in the rat.
