Neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, Prion disease, Huntington's disease, and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis are increasingly being realized to have common cellular and molecular mechanisms including protein aggregation and inclusion body formation in selected brain regions.
