Pancreatic cancer - here in particular pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) - is still a highly therapy refractory disease. Amongst the mechanisms by which PDAC cells could escape any non-surgical therapy, anti-apoptotic protection seems to be the most relevant one.
