  • This is a collection of ve short notes on-calculus: They were written as divertimenti for myself. In the notes some novel ways of applying known techniques to obtain known results are presented (except for the last note which actually contains a new result). Exercise 3.5.11.(vii) of Bar84], displays two lambda terms (x:bx(bc))c and (x:xx)(bc) due to Plotkin, having a common one step beta reduct bc(bc), but which do not have a common beta expand, i.e. are not upward connuent.
