Antigens were derived from hatched and activated oncospheres of Taenia pisiformis which had been separated from embryophoric debris by centrifugation on Percoll. Crude oncospheral antigen was prepared by freeze-thawing and sonication of oncospheres at 4 C, and a supernatant of crude antigen was collected following centrifugation at 100,000g.
