In 1950, Vitalii Ginzburg and Lev Landau published their famous paper on the theory of superconductivity [1]. The approach was based on the general theory of the second order phase transitions proposed by Landau in 1937 [2]. There Landau introduced the main variable, the so called “order parameter” which was finite below the transition and zero above it.
