Trauma is the leading cause of death in pediatric patients between 1 and 18 years old. Abdominal lesions in children are mostly due to car accidents, falls from heights or sport-related injuries. In this study it is discussed the therapeutic management of abdominal parenchymal organ injuries in polytrauma in children.
