The careful integration of new hybrid tracking sensors and improved motion prediction algorithms, along with advanced image generation features such as pre-draw insertion of sensor data and image shifting, can provide simulation system developers with far greater flexibility (using COTS hardware) to find the optimal balance between cost, database complexity, display resolution, and acceptable levels and types of image artifacts without compromising system latency or accuracy.
