  • We sought to determine whether an association existed between the echocardiographic appearance of left ventricular thrombi and systemic embolization. We reviewed the clinical and echocardiographic characteristics of 60 patients who underwent diagnostic two-dimensional echocardiography for left ventricular thrombi.
