In the present paper three new genus and four new species of Delphacidea are described. One new combination, Miranus varians (Kuoh) is given. The type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Entomology,Guizhou University(GZU) and Department of Plant Protection,Nanjing Agricultural University(NJAU),China.1 Miranus Chen et Ding, gen.nov. Type species: Stenocranus varians Kuoh,1981 Head including eyes narrower than pronotum. Vertex submedially longer than wide at base obviously, narrower at…
Two new genera and two new species of Delphacidae (Hemiptera: Fulgoroidea) from China
Two new genera, Ramidelphax and Consociata, from southern China, are pr oposed within Delphacidae, based on th e new species Ramidelphax albistriata n. sp. (from Hainan and Guizhou Provinces, China )
Taxonomic study of the genus Aoyuanus Ding & Chen, with descriptions of two new species (Hemiptera, Fulgoromorpha, Delphacidae)
TLDR
Two new species of Aoyuanus are described and illustrated from China to give the genus three species in total, and the generic characteristics are redefined.
Resolving phylogenetic relationships of Delphacini and Tropidocephalini (Hemiptera: Delphacidae: Delphacinae) as inferred from four genetic loci
TLDR
The topologies support the monophyly of Delphacinae and its basal split into three tribes, and provisionally support subdividing Delphicini into three clades, including a more broadly defined Numatina.
