Objective: The octopamine receptor which belongs to the rhodopsin receptor family ie., class A of G protein-coupled receptors serves as neurohormone, neurotransmitter and neuromodulator. So far the information on the three dimensional structure for octopamine receptor is not available for any organism including silkworm.
