Adsorption of anthracene as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon molecule on the pristine multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and functionalized MWCNTs with polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) has been investigated in an attempt to explore adsorption mechanisms.
