  • Wild and solitary bees of genus Icteranthidium Michener (Family Megachilidae, Subfamily Megachilinae, Tribe Anthidiini) are found in western Rajasthan, Punjab and adjacent area of Pakistan. Numerous nests of Icteranthidium sinapinum (Cockerell) were collected from the neighbouring countrysides of Jodhpur. Female constructed its nest chambers using latex of Calotropis gigantea.
