The equilibrium and dynamic behavior of a liquid in an axisymmetric container at low gravity are investigated. Partial spherical coordinate systems are introduced 1) to express the liquid surface as a single-valued function and 2) to satisfy the compatibility of the liquid surface displacement at the container wall.
