We discuss several methods of computation of the homological index originated in a paper by X. G omez-Mont for vector elds given on singular complex varieties. Our approach takes into account basic properties of holomorphic and regular meromorphic dierential forms and is applicable in dierent settings depending on concrete types of varieties. Among other things, we describe how to compute the index in the case of Cohen-Macaulay curves, graded normal surfaces and complete intersections by…
The Poincaré index and the χy-characteristic of Hirzebruch
In the paper, we discuss several methods for computing the homology of contravariant and covariant versions of the classical De Rham complex on analytic spaces. Our approach is based on the theory of
Indices of vector fields and 1-forms
We discuss the notions of indices of vector fields and 1-forms and their generalizations to singular varieties and varieties with actions of finite groups, as well as indices of collections of vector

Real and complex indices of vector fields on complete intersection curves with isolated singularity
If (V, 0) is an isolated complete intersection singularity and X a holomorphic vector field tangent to V, one can define an index of X, the so-called GSV index, which generalizes the Poincaré–Hopf
COHOMOLOGY OF A QUASIHOMOGENEOUS COMPLETE INTERSECTION
In this paper are computed the Poincare series of the highest local cohomology of the modules of regular forms on a nondegenerate quasihomogeneous singularity and the dimensions of the cohomology

AbstractLet R be a noetherian ring of dimension d and M a finitely generated R-module of homologic dimension less or equal to one. Assume further that M has a rank r, which equals d or (in case d>0)
