Abstract The simple “straw-man” model of low-scale technicolor contains light color-singlet technihadrons, which mix with the electroweak gauge bosons. We present lepton collider production rates at the parton level, and show that experiments at LEP2 may be sensitive to the presence of technirho and techniomega states with masses 10–20 GeV beyond the center-of-mass energy because of the mixing. The exact sensitivity depends on several parameters, such as the technipion mass, the technipion…

Collider phenomenology of technihadrons in the technicolor straw man model
We discuss the phenomenology of the lightest SU(3)C singlet and non-singlet technihadrons in the Straw Man Model of low-scale technicolor (TCSM). The technihadrons are assumed to be those arising in
Search for exotica
Abstract Searches for exotic processes and particles have been performed in the data collected at LEP by the four collaborations (Aleph,Delphi,L3 and Opal) at centre-of-mass energies up tp 208 GeV
Physics beyond the standard model
The author briefly summarizes the prospects for extending the understanding of physics beyond the standard model within the next five years. He interprets ``beyond the standard model'' to mean the
PYTHIA 6.2: Physics and manual
The PYTHIA program can be used to generate high-energy-physics `events', i.e. sets of outgoing particles produced in the interactions between two incoming particles. The objective is to provide as
High-energy physics event generation with PYTHIA 6.1
Pythia version 6 represents a merger of the Pythia 5, Jetset 7 and SPythia programs, with many improvements. It can be used to generate high-energy-physics ‘events’, i.e. sets of outgoing particles
Dynamical Electroweak Symmetry Breaking
Dynamical symmetry breaking provides a possible solution to the electroweak hierarchy problem. It requires new strong interactions that are effective at some high-energy scale. If there is no light
Dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking
In theories of dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking, the electroweak interactions are broken to electromagnetism by the vacuum expectation value of a fermion bilinear. These theories may thereby
RXJ1856.5-3754 and RXJ0720.4-3125 are P-stars
P-stars are a new class of compact stars made of up and down quarks in β-equilibrium with electrons in a chromomagnetic condensate. P-stars are able to account for compact stars with R6 km, as well

Topcolor assisted technicolor
A condensate, tt, arising from O(TeV) scale “topcolor”, in addition to technicolor (and ETC) may naturally explain the gauge hierarchy, the large top quark mass, and contains a rich system of
Spontaneously broken technicolor and the dynamics of virtual vector technimesons.
TLDR
This work proposes spontaneously breaking technicolor, thus liberating techniquarks and suppressing large resonance contributions to the electroweak [ital S] parameter, and proposes a Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model with additional interactions.
A NEW MODEL OF TOPCOLOR-ASSISTED TECHNICOLOR
Abstract I present a model of topcolor-assisted technicolor that can have topcolor breaking of the desired pattern, hard masses for all quarks and leptons, mixing among the heavy and light
Determination of A FB b using jet charge measurements in Z decays
Abstract An improved measurement of the forward-backward asymmetry in Z →b b decays is presented, based on a sample of 4.1 million hadronic Z decays collected by ALEPH between 1991 and 1995. Data are
High-energy-physics event generation with PYTHIA 5.7 and JETSET 7.4
Pythia and JETSET are the two main components of the “Lund Monte Carlo” program suite. They can be used to generate high-energy-physics “events”, i.e. sets of outgoing particles produced in the
Dynamical breaking of weak interaction symmetries
Abstract A realistic theory of dynamically broken weak interactions not only requires fermions with a new strong interaction at 1 TeV, but also additional gauge couplings which explicitly break quark
Minimal dynamical symmetry breaking of the standard model.
TLDR
This work forms the dynamical symmetry breaking of the standard model by a top-quark condensate by abstracting the compositeness condition for the Higgs boson to boundary conditions on the renormalization-group equations for the full standard model at high energy.

TLDR
Multiscale models of walking technicolor in which the light-scale technifermions carry ordinary SU(3) color can have color-octet {rho}{sub {ital T}}'s which are produced strongly in parton-parton collisions and are within reach of the Fermilab Tevatron.
