RATIONALE Mounting data suggest that immune cell abnormalities participate in the pathogenesis of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). OBJECTIVE To determine whether the T lymphocyte subset composition in the systemic circulation and peripheral lung is altered in PAH.
