When LHC experiments like ATLAS [1, 2] and CMS [3] begin to look for signs of supersymmetry (or any other models with large numbers of new particles), one of the first things they will want to probe is the mass scale associated with these new particles, if there are any. Single particles produced in narrow s-channel resonances will in general be easy to spot (one would hope) and will not be considered further here.
