The effect of increasing quantities of carbonized microspheres (15 +/- 5 micrometer diam) on systemic hemodynamics was evaluated in 21 Sprague-Dawley, 6 normotensive Wistar-Kyoto (WKY), and 8 spontaneously hypertensive (SHR) male rats.
