Glutathione S-transferases (GSTs) are essential drug-metabolizing enzymes, involved in conjugation of various endogenous and exogenous substrates. Cynomolgus macaque is an important primate species in drug metabolism studies; however, cynomolgus GSTs have not been fully characterized.
