OBJECTIVE Establish the release kinetics of new chlorhexidine particles incorporated in a dental resin, and with the application of ultrasound. METHODS Spherical chlorhexidine particles (SCP) were synthesized (5wt%), freeze dried and incorporated into UDMA-HEMA resins.
