Abstract Enzymatic synthesis of eight diribonucleoside monophosphates (UpU, CpU, ApU, GpU, UpC, CpC, ApC and GpC) utilizing a nonspecific ribonuclease from Bacillus subtilis was carried out. The yields of the diribonucleoside monophosphates were found to be generally high, ranging from 20 to 75%.
