Synthesis of C-analogues of kainic acids and their interaction with brain receptors.

Abstract

The synthesis and the interaction with brain receptors of some 2-carboxy-5-isopropenylcyclopentaneacetic acids, C-analogues of kainic acids, are reported. They do not displace kainic acid at cortical or striatal receptors.
