The Nonlinear Oscillator Model for speech signals has been previously applied to timescale modiication of speech. In the present contribution, we report on the application of the model to speech synthesis and waveform coding. For speech synthesis, a new radial basis function representation of the oscillator feedback nonlinearity is introduced.
