  • The idea of this research stems from interactions observed between charged species in nature. DNA molecules and the surfaces of celis are normally negatively charged. Positively charged polymers can potentially interact with ceils and DNA molecules, and have been considered for bio-medical applications including drug deÏivery, gene therapy and tissue scaffolds.
