  • The Schiff base ligand, derived from imidazole-2-carboxaldehyde with L-phenylalanine and the Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) complexes were synthesized. The synthesized ligand and its complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, magnetic moment, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR, UV-Vis., ESR, mass spectra, TGA, CV and powder XRD. The analytical data shows that the metal to ligand ratio is 1:1. The molar conductance data reveal that all the complexes are non-electrolytes. The… CONTINUE READING
