Reaction of [Ru(eta4-C8H12) (CH3CN)2 Cl2] with 2-(2-pyridyl) benzimidazole or Schiff bases derived from 2-acetylpyridine and S-methyldithiocarbazate, S-benzyldithiocarbazate and thiosemicarbazide leads to form new complexes of the type [Ru(eta4-C8H12)(L)Cl2] (where L=ligand).
