Al2O3 is the most versatile material having applications in electronic devices and in lasers. It is stable at high temperatures and chemically inert. Sol-gel method is used to synthesize Aluminum oxide nanoparticles and thin films. Thin films are prepared on glass substrates using spin coater. Surface morphologies are observed by using Hitachi S-3400N SEM. Grain size in the range of ~60-90 nm is observed after centrifugation.
