In this letter, a class of wideband bandpass filters (BPFs) with short-circuited multi-mode resonators (MMRs) is proposed and designed by a synthesis approach. The MMRs are formed by n sections of cascaded transmission lines, which are all set to be one quarter wavelength long with respect to the center frequency of the passband.
