A series of mononuclear 3d-transition metal complexes of the type M(acpdtc)2 have been synthesized (where acpdtc=1-acetylpiperazinyldithiocarbamate, M=Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II)). The ligand and its complexes have been characterized by micro analysis (CHNS), TG/DSC, FT-IR, UV-vis, 1H NMR, magnetic susceptibility and conductance measurements.
