Ovarian carcinoma is one of the most common causes of cancer death in women. Tiazofurin, a C-nucleoside, arrests the cell cycle at S phase and reduces the activities of PI (phosphatidylinositol) utilizing enzymes in signal transduction by depleting cellular GTP concentration.
