A study of the synergistic tuning of nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes (NCNTs) as support- and size-monodisperse platinum nanoparticles templated from G4-NH2 dendrimers (Pt-DEN's) as catalysts targeted toward oxygen reduction is reported.
