Abstract

Sympathetic ganglia were dissected from aged patients during surgical operation done for a therapeutic purpose in the University Hospital. Nerve cells were isolated from the ganglia by trituration after incubation with collagenase, and were grown on collagen-coated plastic dishes with a growth medium.
